Waiting for the tide's help... early morning launch

Launching on the incoming tide... it is great to have neighbors to help launch their boats... here are the various stages when you allow the tide to help. The top photo is from Paul's launch back toward our place on the point, the second is the view from our place toward Paul's that was on the earlier posting. As you look through the pics, you can see the boat as it rested over the winter, and then the guys starting it down the slipway to the lowtide mark. Paul is checking the hightide mark to see if it will be enough to float his boat later in the day... it was!

My photo

Grad. Saint Mary's University, 1975, got into the medical device business initially in sales, then various management positions up to president, all in Medical Devices. I prefer therapy products over diagnostic, but they are all fun, and in a way have defined my life. I have now evolved, with help from my 35 year partner Lynnda with whom I now share every hour. I am into staying healthy, photography, kayaking, bicycling, gardening and two books a week. I wish I had gotten to this stage earlier!
